Most people who search for uPVC tilt and turn windows already know what they want: the inward-opening European window, in the frame material that gives the best thermal numbers per dollar. What they cannot find is a price. Supplier sites say "request a quote", and the per-square-foot figures you do find are hard to turn into a number for a real window.
So here is a price list. Every figure below comes from the same pricing cells my project estimator runs on, calibrated against real manufacturer quotes from this year.
The short answer
A uPVC tilt and turn window supplied to a US project in 2026 costs roughly $250 for a small 24 x 36 inch unit and $650 to $750 for a large 60 x 60 inch unit, double glazed. Per square foot that works out to about $26 for a typical 25 sq ft window, rising to $35-42 on small units. A uPVC entry door runs roughly $900 to $1,100.
Those are supply prices - the windows themselves. Freight, duty and customs come on top, and I show how much that adds in the worked example further down. Installation is always a separate local line.
Price list by window size
Per-square-foot price is not flat. A lot of the cost sits in the frame perimeter, the multi-point hardware and the handling, so a small window costs more per square foot than a big one. The table applies that curve to the uPVC window cell: double glazed, no bars, tilt and turn hardware.

The range in each row is the +/-10% accuracy band I use on every estimate. Where a specific window lands inside it depends on the hardware set, the glass make-up and the color. A fixed pane of the same size sits toward the bottom or below it - no hardware, no moving sash.
One honest note on the estimator: it prices your total window area at the blended rate, not unit by unit. If your schedule is mostly small windows, expect my final quote to land toward the top of the estimator range; if it is a handful of big units, toward the bottom.
uPVC door prices
Doors carry heavier profiles, a threshold and a multi-point lock, so they run well above windows per square foot.

What the add-ons cost
These are the options that change the number most often on a uPVC schedule, as the estimator applies them.

uPVC or aluminum tilt and turn?
The same window in thermally broken aluminum costs roughly $56 to $62 per square foot in my estimator, against $26 in uPVC - a bit more than double. The uPVC system I quote most often is listed at roughly U-0.22 double glazed and U-0.13 triple glazed, comfortably under the model-code prescriptive value in every IECC climate zone - see European windows by climate zone for the table.
What aluminum buys is slimmer sightlines, larger spans and any RAL color on a durable powder coat. For most residential schedules with standard window sizes, uPVC is the value pick; for big glass and a modern elevation, aluminum earns its premium. A note on naming: European uPVC is not the thin US replacement vinyl. It is a multi-chamber, steel-reinforced profile built to carry tilt and turn hardware, and it is priced accordingly.
Worked example: 20 windows and an entry door
Here is a realistic whole-house package run through the three steps of the estimator.
Step 1 - Project size. 20 uPVC tilt and turn windows totalling 320 sq ft, plus one 36 x 84 in entry door (21 sq ft).
Step 2 - Options. Double glazing, no bars, nailing fin on.

Two things stand out. First, triple glazing adds only about $1,800 on the whole house. Second, freight is a fixed cost per container, so on a small package it is a large share of the landed number. The same freight line spread over a bigger order - or a package that adds sliding doors - makes the per-window landed cost drop noticeably. That is worth knowing before you split an order in two.
Every estimate I send is DDP: duty, freight and customs are already in the number, so nothing lands on you at the port.
What the price does not include
- Installation. Local labor, quoted by your installer. Inward-opening windows install much like any flanged or bracket-mounted window, but ask for a crew that has done tilt and turn before.
- Site work. Opening rework, headers for big glass, waterproofing details.
- Interior trim and sills. Usually by your finish carpenter.
