Who I Am

This website is operated by Windows Guy sp. z o.o., with Kai Adamek (Kajetan Adamek) as founder. I help US builders, architects, and developers source premium windows and doors from European manufacturers.

What Data I Collect

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure visits and actions such as starting a form or submitting an inquiry. Usage data can include page addresses, device information, approximate location and browser identifiers. I do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers or uploaded drawings as analytics event parameters.

If you submit a form, save a Studio brief or request an estimate, I process the contact details, project information and files you provide to review the project, respond and manage follow-up. Campaign tags and click identifiers may accompany a submission to identify which advertising brought the inquiry.

Why I Collect It

Analytics data helps me understand how visitors use this site so I can improve the experience - better content, faster load times, and more relevant information for your projects.

Data Sharing

I use service providers to host the site, deliver messages, manage inquiries and measure advertising. These providers process the data needed for their service, as described below. Advertising measurement can share browser and event information with Google or OpenAI, subject to the applicable consent settings.

Cookies and Local Storage

This site uses the following cookies and browser storage:

• _ga, _ga_* - Google Analytics cookies used to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. Expire after 2 years, subject to provider configuration. Category: Analytics.
• __oppref - OpenAI advertising click identifier, up to 30 days. __obref - OpenAI browser identifier, up to 365 days. Used by the advertising pixel according to regional consent settings and your saved choice.
• wg_attribution - Session storage containing campaign tags, click identifiers, entry page and referrer for project-submission attribution. Cleared when the browser session ends.
• cookie-consent - Stores your cookie consent preference (accepted/declined). Stored in your browser's local storage (not a cookie). Persistent until cleared.
• geo - Stores your detected region (US or EU) to show the appropriate consent banner. Expires after 30 days. Category: Necessary.

Third-Party Services

Umami Cloud - I also measure visits and selected actions with cookieless analytics. This measurement operates independently of the analytics cookie choice and respects the browser Do Not Track setting. It records page paths, safe campaign tags, referring domains and basic device information. Private brief and sharing pages are excluded; Studio addresses are reduced to a generic page. I do not send form contact details, project documents or customer identifiers to Umami. For details, see Umami's privacy policy.

Google Analytics 4 - I use GA4 with Google Consent Mode v2. When consent is denied, Google may receive limited cookieless measurement requests; this is not the same as sending no data. When consent is granted, cookies can support session and advertising measurement. For visitors identified as in the US, measurement is enabled unless declined. Browser settings and blockers can limit measurement.

OpenAI Ads - Subject to regional consent settings and your saved choice, the OpenAI pixel measures visits and accepted project inquiries for campaign attribution. It can process page, browser, click and event identifiers. This integration does not manually send your name, email, phone number or project documents to the pixel. Declining or withdrawing consent stops further pixel measurement on this site.

Snitcher - I use Snitcher to associate website visits with companies and understand interest in products and projects. It processes network/IP information, page visits, referrers and browser/session identifiers. A company match does not identify the individual visitor. This integration does not manually send form contact details or uploaded files to Snitcher. The script loads according to the same regional settings and saved measurement choice as the consent banner. If you decline before it loads, it is not loaded. Withdrawing consent after it loads disables its persistent measurement storage through Snitcher's cookie controls; cookieless/session measurement may continue until you leave or reload the page. Microsoft Clarity - Where measurement is enabled, I use Clarity to see how visitors use pages and forms (clicks, scrolling and anonymized session recordings) so I can fix confusing steps. It does not run on private project links, and text typed into form fields is masked. It follows the same regional settings and saved measurement choice as the consent banner. Pipedrive and Telegram - Submitted contact and project details are used in Pipedrive to manage inquiries. Telegram delivers notifications to me with contact details, a project summary, campaign information and relevant project or CRM links.

Resend - I use Resend as an email delivery service for project notifications to me and confirmations or estimates to you. Email content can include contact information, project details, file links and estimate attachments.

Vercel - This website is hosted on Vercel. Files uploaded through the quote form (window schedules, drawings) are stored on Vercel Blob storage. Vercel processes request data as part of standard web hosting.

Your Rights

US Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to opt out of data sharing. You can do this by clicking "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in the website footer, or by declining cookies when the consent banner appears.

EU/EEA Residents (GDPR)

For visitors identified as located in the EU or EEA, analytics cookie storage is denied until consent is given. Google may still receive limited cookieless requests. You can contact me to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data.

How to Exercise Your Rights

Click "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in the footer to withdraw measurement consent and reopen your preferences. You can also contact me directly at kai@windowsguy.com.

Data Retention

Retention varies by service and account settings. Cookie lifetimes are listed above and are separate from provider-side data retention. Project records are kept as needed to respond, prepare estimates, manage orders and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. Contact me for a request about your project data.

Updates to This Policy

I may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. For significant changes, I will make reasonable efforts to notify visitors through a prominent notice on this site.
