Overview

What makes the Ideal Neo OUT
stand out.

Ideal Neo OUT is the outward-opening version of the Aluplast Ideal Neo platform, developed specifically for the North American market. Same 85 mm six-chamber German profile, same thermal numbers - but the sash swings out instead of in, the glass is set from the inside, and the frame carries an integrated nailing fin so the unit drops into a standard US rough opening and ties straight into your WRB and flashing sequence. Hardware follows US practice too: a folding crank operator at the sill plus a perimeter locking lever, so the window reads and operates the way an American crew and an American homeowner expect. Because the sash opens outward, interior insect screens, blinds, and shades all stay usable - the single objection that stops most builders from speccing European tilt & turn. Steel reinforcement runs through frame and sash for wind-load performance, co-extruded thermoplastic gaskets seal the full perimeter, and the glazing rebate takes double or triple units up to 46 mm. NFRC-rated, labeled units are available where the building department wants a certified number on the submittal.

Key Highlights

  • Integrated nailing fin - installs into a standard US rough opening with normal flashing and WRB detailing
  • Outswing sash keeps interior screens, blinds, and shades fully usable
  • Interior glazing: glass is set from inside for better security, a tighter fit, and simpler service
  • Steel reinforcement through frame and sash for wind-load performance
  • Co-extruded thermoplastic gaskets seal the full perimeter
  • Glazing and infill up to 1 13/16" (46 mm) - double or triple
  • Crank operator and locking lever - US-standard casement hardware
  • NFRC-rated, labeled units available for permit submittals

Ideal For

US custom homes, remodels, and multi-family projects that want European thermal performance without asking the crew to learn a new installation method. Standard rough opening, nailing fin, flashing, interior screens, crank hardware - everything downstream of the window stays the same. Also the right call when the building department expects an NFRC label on the submittal, or when the interior design depends on shades and screens that an inward-opening sash would block.

Consider an Alternative When

If you want the full European operation - tilt for secure background ventilation, swing the whole sash inward to clean the outside from inside - the standard Aluplast Ideal Neo covers tilt & turn on the same profile depth. If you need slimmer sightlines, larger sashes, or aluminum aesthetics, look at the Aluprof MB-79N CSF Casement or the Reynaers SlimLine 68 Casement, both outward-opening aluminum systems.
